Mallory & Jordan Previews Lake Charles Wedding Photographer

Being my last wedding before maternity leave and only one week shy of being officially nine months pregnant...I was nervous about this day. I have been feeling great, but weddings have been doing me in come Sunday morning. Swollen feet and achy ankles, barely able to walk "doing me in." But once I met with Mallory to go over the plans for the day, I had no worries. This girl, her now husband and both of their families are the sweetest ever. Mal was so laid back and her genuine hope for the day was that everyone enjoyed themselves and had fun. They were all super understanding and her mom even suggested I take a nap during the wedding day- um, heck yes. But I didn't, because I like taking wedding pictures too much!

Speaking of which, the photos under the oak tree are a great example of what just fifteen minutes after your ceremony can add to your collection of wedding photos. Mallory wanted a few shots of the two of them just in their wedding attire in a pretty location. We snuck down the road for just a few minutes- and that magic happened!

Mallory and Jordan were married at First Baptist Lake Charles downtown and their reception was held at the always beautiful Brickhouse right down the road. They did a fantastic job with everything at the reception and the food (catered by McFarlane's next door!) was awesome as usual! Flowers were provided by Paradise floral and entertainment by Deep South Productions. And the cakes were done the ever popular Pronia's Bakery. You can just tell it was a fun and laid back evening.

Congrats to you guys! We wish you all the happiness in the world! Enjoy some previews. :)
